Investing in education as a pathway to agency
Education is one of the most powerful tools we have to change young lives across the Ashanti Region. It is not simply about completing a grade; it is about equipping youth to make choices, to lead, and to unlock new opportunities. KingFab Foundation collaborates with NGOs to help children and young people access the full spectrum of learning opportunities — from secondary school to technical and vocational training, and onward to higher education.
Our work supports scholarship programs, school supplies, teacher mentorship, and digital learning tools so that learners can stay engaged and build confidence. By reducing financial and logistical barriers, we help ensure that more youth do not drop out because they lack uniforms, textbooks, or quiet study space.
When students are supported in this way, the outcome is not only stronger academic performance, but also a deeper sense of purpose and belonging. Education becomes a foundation for long-term resilience, not a short-term relief measure.
Bridging secondary school and TVET through practical support
Many young people find the transition from secondary school to vocational training or higher education difficult. In response, we support programmes that provide clear pathways, counselling and financial support for TVET and tertiary studies. This includes scholarships for promising students, partnerships with training institutions, and guidance for choosing skills that match local economic trends.
Technical and vocational education is a particularly important route for youth who thrive in practical, hands-on learning. By supporting TVET, we help students build careers in areas like construction, agriculture, tailoring and digital services. These skills are often directly tied to employer demand, which makes them a strong option for youth seeking stable livelihoods.
Our investments in this area also help reduce the stigma that sometimes surrounds vocational paths. We celebrate practical skills as a vital contribution to community growth and youth independence.
Scholarships and mentorship for the leaders of tomorrow

For many families, access to digital tools is still limited. That is why our partners work to create safe, shared learning spaces where youth can use computers, connect to educational platforms, and receive guidance from trained facilitators. This approach helps reduce inequality and ensures that digital learning becomes a powerful complement to classroom education.
Importantly, we also train teachers and community facilitators to use these tools effectively. When educators are comfortable with digital resources, they can better support students and make learning more interactive.
